About Us

Hi, my name is Sala. I founded STEMSpring Academy to provide an exceptional STEM inspired learning experience for children in grades K-5. Having enjoyed a fulfilling career as a teacher, principal, leadership coach, and school improvement consultant, I know first hand the difference a high-quality school makes in children’s lives. As a teacher and school leader, my scholars excelled when learning was hands on and engaging. They especially loved science! These experiences compelled me to design a school that also addresses what is deemed the STEM imperative…more STEM jobs than STEM skilled workers. Our goals are to develop scientifically literate, self-aware, and confident scholars, who possess the tenacity to pursue and excel in STEM disciplines in elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and the workforce of the future.

With the launch of STEMSpring Academy, my team and I have created a school that we wish our own chidren had the opportunity to attend when they were in elementary school. A school where joy, high-achievement, character, and children matter.
